Coming Home Project Retreat

The Coming Home Project has announced its first retreat for the 2011 year. This retreat is made available to female Veterans and active duty military personnel who have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11, 2001. This retreat is open to their families as well.

The retreat is scheduled for February 10th-13th in Oceanside, CA. All applications are welcome but preference will be given to those in the proximity of South California. This retreat is free and provides educational, recreational, and community building opportunities. All lodging and food is provided. A travel stipend of $150 is also provided to help offset travel costs which are the participants responsibility.

Several retreats are held throughout the year. For more information and to learn about this organization, visit the Coming Home Project.

A note about training opportunities for those who work with and support veterans.

The Coming Home Project offers a wide range of training videos. Again, the Coming Home Project focuses on Veterans and active military personnel who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11, 2001. However, this information may prove valuable as you serve and support all our veterans. You can access the videos here.
